Ergonomics
The string layout has been designed to naturally follow the rotation of the shoulder, so that instrument moves towards the player.
A harmonic line drawn on the instrument runs along the vibrating half-length of each string.
Plucking the string at this point locates the ideal overtone.
The joints are in a relaxed position, whether you are sitting or standing. The zither can be tilted forward or backward.
